Hi silver. Sorry, took a leave from the computer to deal with dishes and stuff. Just got back from picking up my DD after the play tonight. She made it through, but her throat is pretty sore and she's picked up a cough so I'm going to give her some nighttime stuff after she eats and put her to bed. Otherwise, it's all good here. I see you are starting to think on your trip. I believe Robin is closest to Lansing. You know, I went through Gettysburg with my mom about 10 years ago or so on our way back from Philly. I can't totally recall, but I think we had no choice but to pick up a toll road at some point. Gosh, I really can't remember so maybe I'm wrong.

Todays update for the Nuggeter...
I filled my small waterer and the chick feeder to keep in the utility tub with him... now that he falls over less and less.
I am running low on Poly-vi-sol and may just sprinkle it on his food from now on... or put it in the water. I know it goes bad in light that is why it is in a dark bottle, so I will have to change itall regularly.
He fights me when I touch his head now because I had to use the dropper to get the medicine in... and he HATES it... But once he figures out that I am petting him or giving him scratches he is a happy boy!
I talk to him and itch the feathers under his wings and he preens... Like a dog kicking its leg when you find its itchy spot!
I love my lil Nugget! I hope he fully recovers and he and Noodle make some cute lil EE babies someday.
If I put him out with her, she will pick at him but not as to hurt him... more like "Come on! What are you doing? What is WRONG with you? Let me clean that feather for you..."
