Gabapentin

If your vet gave it to you for your dog, it almost certainly does not have xylitol. If you got it from a human pharmacy, don't use it.

What does she need to take something for?
A perch broke and hit her in the head, she obviously has a head injury and I know that gabapentin has been giving to another animal that I have that got a head injury from a cow so I figured why not check to see if she can take it as well, it was formulated by my vet for animals

Birds can take gabapentin, but a quick search shows that it's usually prescribed for feather picking:

I know what gabapentin is as I take it for nerve pain in my shoulder. It's also used to treat epilepsy in people. No idea why chicks would need it.
It’s used for pain because the vet has given it to my dogs and cats
