I love them all, such a sweet girl. How's her breathing and eating doing? She looks great by the way.. .
Thanks! Yes, the timely intervention prevented her from further suffering. Being a complete ignorant on geese myself, all the advice made a huge difference for me, too. Couldn't have helped her without all the support. Really grateful to all the forum members. She does look great! Much more relaxed too. I'm glad you were able to catch her illness early on and get her back on track.
Love the pictures! :,D

Shes come a long way thanks to your TLC. Sounds like she is on her way. !!!Thank you. Yes, she is wonderful. She hates antibiotics and hides from me, but is getting much better. Hacking has stopped for the most part, and a lot of phlegm is coming out. Changing out her ACV water bucket every other day - and the water is less and less murky - but has long stringy slime in it. At least the slime is clear and fluid-like, not brownish and gunky-solid like before.
She's eating on her own and more frequently - laying mash and whole corn. Doesn't like anything mushy, veggies or fruits. She's taking baths, siestas at noon and nibbling on patches of grass. Still have a long way to full recovery, but the worst is behind her.

How can you not get too attached mine are like my kids, even when the gander show's his Bottom. he knows I still love him. I hope you can find a gander so when Juhy is completely well she'll have a friend to hang out with.I couldn't have done it without you guiding me all the way. The real credit goes to you and everybody who cared along this harrowing journey. Plus, Juhy has a spirit and a mind all her own. She's the real champ. I just love her so - but with a little reservation. Love comes with a price - accidents and loss can be devastating. So, I've decided to give her space to be her own and not get too attached. Still on the lookout for an Embden gander to pair her and Pom with. Working on a pen area for them and need to find a suitable coop.
((( I need sleep real bad. Hoping to get some peaceful rest ... someday. )))
