Oh my heavens... just thinking about a snake that size in my yard....

Fortunately just a very long chew rope for my dogs to play with. lol I'm sure the owl was very disappointed that it wasn't a snake though.

Have a heart or foot trap?
Definitely prefer foot. Easer to dispatch.
Funny story. Mom and dad built a new house, and before the garage door went in downstairs, a stray cat kept getting in the trash. One night dad heard the "cat" and in his skivvies, opened up upstairs door and snuck down the stairs with a broom with the intent on scaring the kitty. He turned the lights on and bashed the garbage pail with the broom. I'll give you one guess what was actually in the garbage, lol..

Live trap. Nice big one with 1" openings in the wire. Works well with my laser sight.

Few bears where I live as it's mostly wood with a few fields. Where I hunt, only a few miles away, is mostly fields. In 30 yrs, I've never seen bear sign let alone a bear in that area. Got this pic yesterday.

Bear are quite intelligent. If you put up a “keep out Bears” or a “ we refuse to serve Bears here”. They will not enter the area.
