gamefowl?

this was a rooster i "took" from a dude that put him in a fight,,, i THINK i know he's a "gamefowl",, but do they have different kinds?,, or a different name?
he was pretty mean when i first got him,,,now he only bites me when i mess with him and pick him up,,hehe

Oh yeah, he's a game. BTW, just cause he is game, doesn't mean he is mean to people. Most games are very calm towards people as a rule if they are well bred. Take some time to handle him, and I am sure he will calm down. They are beautiful birds! What do you mean you "took" him?

he's mean towards people because he was never handled at all ,,i can pick him up and scratch his head,,and rub his back,,,,until he decides "thats enough",,hehe ,, he's more "scared" then anything,,,but i still mess with him every day,,and i work at home,, so my "break" lounger is right next to him.

i have another guy that says he has a hen of that "variety" that he'll let me have,,i have try build him a "pen" ,, he's on a "leash" right now,, and has a dog house kinda thingy,,hehe,, he goes into at night,,,but,, he kills all the little birds that try to steal his food,,,, do you guys think he'll be o.k. with a hen?

Yep, and if you make it a point that you gave him the hen, it will go a long ways to calming him towards you. Like any male, a little lovin' goes a long way to keeping him happy... lol!
