I know, The Conduit got somewhere around a 7 on most of the sites, but I thought it was fun. The weapons aren't just variations of regular guns for once! (No offense meant to Halo, they could just use some more imagination in their weapons.
) The reviews always attack the storyline, but I found it to be extremely creative, and was actually surprised by the plot twists.
As far as linear gameplay goes, is COD: MW2 not linear as heck?! I think review sites have double standards when it comes to Wii shooters.
