I have 3 new geese added to my 3yo pet goose (she is my sweetheart).
The Three were abused or basically ignored,, kept in a small pen with sometimes watered and an occasional hand full or feed ?? So I brought them home and have a large acre fenced in yard with ponds and grass and gardens . They didn't know what to do...they had never seen grass growing or ponds , well after a month they became accustomed to being a 'Real Bird'..BUT one the ganders developed a walking problem...so I fixed up a 'Potion', my kids call it and poured it down the sick birds mouth.. I did it three times ..a week later that gander is up running around with the other birds.
Now..that'Potion' is .... in a small bottle start with a about 1/2 shotglass of very warm water add a dropped full of Iodine ,1/2 a capsule or Vitamin B (I used Mercola Vitamin B complex) , about 1/2 teaspoon of Diatometric Earth . a few drops of MTC oil and one capsule or Krill oil. Shook it up well and poured it down the birds throat..it got three doses over three days .. He had water and feed all the time and was allowed to be with the other birds..on the third day he was up swimming and running around with rest the flock.

Why the Iodine and DE ? All the rest I understand - especially the vitamin and krill oil.
