Hi All,

I've been reading about using Merck Safe-Guard Goat Dewormer to treat gapeworm in my chickens. I'm planning to buy the liquid form and put it in their water. Does anyone know:
1. How much to put in the water?
2. How long do we treat them?
3. Do we have to dispose of their eggs while they're being treated?
4. Our ducks and chickens share water. Is it OK for ducks to be exposed to the med too?

Thanks for all your help. This newbie chickeneer appreciates it :)

No, but she has all the other symptoms and no other symptoms that would indicate anything else.

Hi,

Does that work on gapeworm?
It will work if they get the correct amount for 3-5 days in a row. @Miss Lydia correct, it's not that common in chickens, so maybe it would be best to treat just the one? How much does your sick hen weigh?
