Last year some of mine were blooming under the snow. They are greatly delayed this year. I had some blooming the 1st of February last year.Mine are covered in snow today!i hope they live.

Oh yeah. Mice would be very unwelcome visitors!Chickens? Yeah, I do feed them!Wild birds? No. I have not done so for several years. Enjoyed it. Had rats move into my territory last summer.
No intention of feeding birds in the near future. I have considered feeding the turkeys to keep them coming around my flock!

Very nice!Weather was wet snow all day. Beautiful but took outdoor work away. I made 12 more birdhouses while D worked in her quilt cave with the parrot supervising. She finished a table quilt and is working on a set of placemats and matching coasters.View attachment 1305797
