Yours are doing much better than mine. Mine froze on June 10th and are just now 6" to 8" long and zero blossoms of any kind.

i don't know how to check for female blooms but i have them, just picked three nice cucumbers sat. but have to use up the store bought before i indulge in my own

In cucumbers you can tell the female blossom by the tiny little cucumber at the base of the blossom. The male blossoms have only the stem at the base of the blossom.

Normally our last frost is the first of the last week of May but we have had frosts as late as the middle of June. Our earliest frost in the fall is normally the first week of September but three years ago it frosted here on Aug. 27.

thanks, i will try to see tomorrow early before the bugs come out, they yell breakfast is served when i go out if its not before the sun comes out bright. i wear a net over my head and face but then can't see that well.

to be honest, i've never paid attention on when the frost dates are, i really never put anything out in the spring til i feel safe about it altho i do cool weather plant seeds

I have got to take a pic of this 'cucumber' vine I have & post it here tonight. The fruit are tiny, round & yellowish. Prickly like a cuke, but they don't grow. It was in the pack with my other cukes that are normal, I think it's some sort of mutant.

elk, i was out this morning in the garden, picked two more cukes and looked at the blooms, i see what you told me , now i i know what to look for when they start blooming thank you

Oh my gosh!! I wonder if that's it!! I would love that. They aren't growing yet, I thought they weren't pollinated but once again, I may need more patience. I will definitely get a pic tonight.
