wild turkeys?
Nope, Mother Nature in her infinite wisdom visited me with 3/4" to 1" hail stones at violent speeds. I turned the volume all the way up on the TV and still couldn't hear anything because of the hail pounding on the roof and skylights. I still have not gotten on the roof to check for damage to the skylights. The greenhouse roof panels and the ones for the skylight on the guinea coop have some pretty big holes in them.

ackkk not much you can do to prevent that
I guess at least you have time to repair structures before winter
Will ins cover the house, if it's damaged?

No insurance. I am blaming the hail storm on the next door neighbor. They just finished his new roof on his house and garage two days before the hail storm.

The Game Camera caught some pictures of the hail coming down.

:he Ah rats! I remember living in Colorado and having the garden mulched by hail! So sorry that happened! :bow Takes tough people to live there!
In a normal year, I only get light hail a couple of times early in the growing season. The horrible, damage causing hail is only about once every ten years or so. This is only the second time that the hail hit too late in the year for the garden to be able to recover. Fortunately it missed most of one plant. I picked 3 (minor damage) tomatoes from the Bobcat tomato plant. They were 4" in diameter and weighed 12 oz. each. I just had a delicious BLT from the first one.
