And you will come across the original fittings while looking for something else 2 days after the new ones arrive. At least that is how things seem to work for me.
Of course you know the other side of the coin :old

You are SO RIGHT!!!!

What do you folks use to get rid of horn worms? Aside from picking them off the plants.
That is how I do it. 🐛

I've seen praying mantis around on rare occasion. I guess one would have to order them as beneficial insects?

Here are some more flower pix.
Planted this hydrangea bush this spring. It took well, and is flowering.

The surprise portion in this hanging basket is a sunflower. Courtesy of my squirrels helpers.

No recollection what this flower is called, but I take it inside home for winter, and it grows continuously. My other hanging baskets go into utility room for winter-over.

The next 2 flowers are in same container pot. I planted them last year, and are a perennial variety. They wintered over outdoors, and really returned nicely this spring. Again,,,,, have no ideas on what they are called. DD came by the other day, and was amazed by them. She has an APP on her fone, that takes picture, and allows Google, to Identify it. She wants some of the seeds to plant in her garden when these past bloom. How much do you all think I should juice her for those seeds:gig:gig:gig

I like to container grow what I can. In the vegetable category, pickles. Around the perimeter are tomato cages standing on the cement to hold up the vines.

There is more than enough for us to eat daily with dinner.
:drool:drool:drool I have to water this pot multiple time each day. All other containers get watered once per day.

Also eatable is multiple planters of sorrel. Other eatable items are, some chive, and lettuce in a pot. somehow forgot to snap a pix:(

This picture shows the playhouse decorated with purchased flowerpots . Makes a pleasant view. To the right, some potted dill can be seen.

Tiger Lillie's in full bloom.

These are blackberries, some are getting ripe and dark color. these pictured are still not ripe, and look like raspberries. I don't have many plants, so harvest is minimal. I just leave for the grandchildren to anxiously pick and eat right off the plant.

Rose of Sharon started blooming.

These are Portulaca. They self seeded, and gave me a pleasant surprise when I pulled out all my overwintered pots to replant.

This is gorgeous. I have been wanting to do patio plants, but haven't had the courage. Now, I think I can fix up the containers this winter and plant in the spring. Thanks for the ideas.

Ohh and I see some yummy Nasties! (Nasturtiums)

Wanted to share these..
Cosmos,,,,,, I really like the delicate looking foliage on these flowers.
IMG_20200726_193146359.jpg

Assorted marigolds. These are low growing. Last year I had the Crackerjack Variety, which grew about 24 inches tall.

IMG_20200725_131816395_HDR.jpg

This is my Fire Bush, or maybe it is called Blazing Bush.:idunno,,, It is very green at the moment, but in the autumn, turns a nice vibrant RED,:thumbsup,, Have been giving it plenty of fertilizer, so it grows taller each year.
IMG_20200725_131246846.jpg

Somewhat hard to see, because of the green plants in behind. This is a Japanese Maple. It has delicate looking leaves, and crimson in color. Very slow growing, and not very large tree at maturity. I still have a support stick tied to it for second year now. I need to give it some fertilizer, but ran out of the one I want to apply. 10-10-10. is what I like to use on my shrubs, and other plants such. Miracle Grow I have has a little more nitrogen than I want for these.

My Black Eyed Susan's started blooming.
This is in a Heart Shaped raised bed, that has a few other types of flowers in it also. All perennial. The Susan's really took over much of the area. I feed this bed with my coop compost every autumn. I just place on top surface, and it works its plant nutrients slowly into soil with wintwer snow, and spring rains.
