It was 32°F this morning and dropped to zero in one hour. There is also about 1 1/2" of new snow.

do you suppose that's how the season :"FALL" got it's name ?

now, there's a real trooper..

I made the decision yesterday. Call Bob to come
plow us out on Sat morning. I am not about to
go riding on Ollie in single digit temperatures.
especially with the wind we are having.
our Christmas dinner guest list is up to 12.
with a possible two more.. we never know until
we sit down to eat.. might have to add more
water to the soup..

I remember one time the dog pee'd against
a fence post when it was that cold. I had to
go and break him loose..

Nah, no stalagmites formed. It just melted the snow.
