Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

Raised beds made from pallets...I made several and grew strawberries, herbs, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries, spinach, kale, sweet potatoes, sunflowers and other flowers on my deck. Planters need to be at least 14 inches deep and I lined with heavy duty landscape fabric. The photos are ideas that I used to create my planters. The last two pictures are my deck planters.

We just had a sonic boom here so loud it rattled the windows and shook the floor. The roosters are screaming their brains out.

Wish they would call and ask me permission before they took my tax supported fighter jets out for exercise...

Hey! We are almost neighbors. We are in Macon county, just three counties to the east and slightly north of you! Nearest city is Kirksville.

I got some seeds ordered this morning. I had to go with 3 different places to get them.
I still need to find a few but hopefully I'll find them around here.
We're going to get dh's park pass tomorrow for camping I'm hoping we can find what I want while we're out.

I will be getting a Satsuma and a Methley plum next month if or when they come in.

Probably same as last year...nothing, lol. Since we moved to WY, I haven't had a garden and miss it. But summer is the busiest time of year for me with work so don't really have the time or a good place to do it.

BTW, have you had luck growing Rosemary from seed before? I've tried in the past (when we had our FL house) but ended up having to buy plants already started.
