For pets??? or the other option. :drool:oops:
Back off Cave Man, these are breeding stock. I bred small breeds of pet rabbits to help pay my feed bills in TN.
So far i have Lionheads, Holland Lops , Dutch, Mini Rex, and one mystery rabbit. I need more bucks, since i only have 2.

I have too many rabbits at 8, and too many bucks that like to spray pee everywhere. Rabbits to me are too much work as each needs to be kept separately. I like looking at them, but I pray for no more accidental breeding again. I'm not sure if they are a long term critter for me.

They sure are messy pee producers! Mine are outside, so not as bad as it could be. They can be quite lucrative baby producers, rabbits can bring $100 or more around here for one cute tiny bunny! Mine used to help a lot on other animals feed bills and paid for all their own supplies in TN and i was only getting $20 each back then!
Oh and they make wonderful ready to use manure for my gardens.

These giant jiffy pellets are the bomb! Starting some herbs today!:wee

Oh they are outside for sure. Stinky rabbits. How does such a small animal make so make so much waste.

There are too many rabbits around here. You can buy them from 5-30 dollars, and there's always plenty for sale, so it's harder to sell them here. At 100 dollars a rabbit I would be selling them too.

I used to use those but you have to cut that outside webbing off when you plant. They say it will dissolve but it never did for me and I'd pull up my annuals in the fall and that peat pot was strangling the roots.

I was asking a legitimate question. :idunno Maybe I used the incorrect emojis.
Many peeps eat their chickens. I don't because I'm a city dweller and only have 6 hens that I keep as pets and for eggs. It is also not allowed for individuals to process their own chickens or rabbits, or anything else, where I live. Cook County Illinois.
I do eat meat from stores.

Seriously? You can't butcher your own birds for consumption? On a side note I was born in Cook County Illinois.
