Oh they are outside for sure. Stinky rabbits. How does such a small animal make so make so much waste.

There are too many rabbits around here. You can buy them from 5-30 dollars, and there's always plenty for sale, so it's harder to sell them here. At 100 dollars a rabbit I would be selling them too.

Well they were asking that at Christmas, idk how many they sold.

Did you get a lot of people willing to do the deed themselves? So many people are squeamish, but still want to eat meat. I find it strange. I'm squeamish so I don't eat meat.

No, we didn't because we didn't put the word out that we had them for meat. A friend of mine raised rabbits and advertised, she had quite a few customers. She told me one couple came to pick up the rabbits and didn't want a box...the customers just threw them loose into their car trunk. My friend was understandably shocked but the customer said it didn't matter, he was just going to butcher them at home anyway. Yikes! Not the kind of people I'd want to deal with (or have come to my home for any reason).

Some people are totally lacking in any respect for life and the ending of it. I don't sell anything anymore as people scare me these days.

I did get my apple tree and plum tree planted today. That is all of them!

They sure are messy pee producers! Mine are outside, so not as bad as it could be. They can be quite lucrative baby producers, rabbits can bring $100 or more around here for one cute tiny bunny! Mine used to help a lot on other animals feed bills and paid for all their own supplies in TN and i was only getting $20 each back then!
Oh and they make wonderful ready to use manure for my gardens.

It depends a lot on supply and demand. How many breeders there are of popular breeds, and the quality of your rabbits play a factor as well as reputation. More likely to get better prices in big cities. Pet stores have really promoted high prices on a lot of animals. Look at Craigslist in your area and see what is around and what they are going for. I hope to grow a lot of greens for my rabbits to cut feed costs and give them fresh foods this summer.

It has been unseasonably warm here the last few days. Spring will come, even where you are!

Picking grass for my rabbits was a never ending task I'm not looking forward to again. Giving them hay and pellets is easier. How many do you have now?
