Wow, you must have lots of cages/hutches. I have my hands full with 8. Was suppose to be 4.
When i build rabbit cages i build them in banks of three. I have 2 of those and another planned. Plus i bought 2 stacks of three cages each from a guy. I have 2 pairs of young does in together and a single cage i recently built from scrap lumber. I do have a brooder and a chicken tractor that are empty in a pinch.

Lol, when I mentioned rabbit breeding to Hubs, he was less than enthusiastic. I don't think he wants a lot more animals to deal with right now. Does anyone here know anything about growing mushrooms for profit? I bought a book on it a few years ago, but got a little discouraged cause it sounded kind of hard to do. I'm still interested though, as I heard some people have made around $30,000. a year growing mushrooms. I would love to get into something like that, where Hubs and I could make some extra money working at home like that.
Remember seeing this, so I went and grabbed this video. How Its Made.

Neat - thanks! The growing process used in this video seems a bit different than what I read in my book, but I suppose there's different ways of going about it. We do have an extra outbuilding we could use if we seriously wanted to start mushroom growing, but at this point, would need to buy some spores and start out small to even see if we could grow a small batch - lol! Really sounds like it could be a fun way to make money, though, since me and Hubs both love growing things.

I think the process is different for different types of mushrooms. Some spores will grow in logs that you can drill depressions into. I've seen some that will grow in bags and some in jars.
