Well folks, I got my tomatillo seeds. I'm gonna kind of break from instructions. They clearly state, start them indoors... Started them in their pot, but will move the selected four plants once they are 8" tall... Second half of instruction is bury 2/3rds of the plant when transplanting. It's funny as that's exactly what I did for my tomatoes. Once planted in the garden they were only about 4" tall. Now they are about 18"... And I have a 1" cucumber.... Still worried about the squash as it was weak and might not make it.

Has anyone ever tried to grow tomatillo? If I can find seed, is it too late to try? Anything special I need to know? When I want them, I pretty much have to drive more than an hour to get them... Thinking about growing them and canning the different things I make with them.
got the latest countryside magazine today in the mail, guess who has a article on tomatillo's in it, you might want to check it out, also had a couple of recipes in it.:drool
