The Rocky Mountain Bee plant is in full bloom. I have not seen any other blossoms that attract so many flying insects. One patch is directly in front of the door to the coop so I have to go right through the 6' tall plants to access the coop. It is loaded with various bumblebees, honeybees, sweat bees, wasps, cabbage white butterflies and many kinds of flies.

Cleome serrulata (syn. Peritoma serrulata), commonly known as Rocky Mountain beeplant/beeweed, stinking-clover, bee spider-flower, skunk weed, Navajo spinach, and guaco is an annual plant in the genus Cleome.

Look at Cleome for photos of cultivated plants of same species.

Wanted to share these Hibiscus flowers. My neighbor has same but in RED color. Will ask to get some of his seeds after his past bloom.
These are the Per-annual variety, and not the woody bush type.

i have seeds from last years, we have a white with pink, a burgundy and a red, love to see them coming up every year, first year husband mowed them over, forgot we had planted them on the bank, the next year he was slow on mowing that bank and then he remembered when he saw them coming up so now he just trims around them, anyones who wants seeds can have them for a sase

I container grow many of my flowers as well. These are impatiens they grew about 16 inches or more in height.

We (DW and I) water all potted plants daily, and fertilize (not daily:gig) with Miracle Grow. I like that fertilizer because it is NON BURNING..

My dill and sorrel is also doing well.

This one is hanging in the middle of lawn from tree above. In Autumn,Winter,Spring, have a Bird seed Feeder hanging there. Squirrels are not able to get at and Pull/scoop all the seeds out just to get to the last sunflower seed. Used to cause a mess and much of the seeds would be wasted in the snow and wet ground. Now squirrels must be happy with what the birds throw on the ground. Waste issue resolved. :thumbsup
I do feed the squirrels separately some nuts in a container seen on the tree on left.
