Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

Ok, the beer garden idea didn't go over well with DH (he's not a beer drinker). What do you all think of this one?

Back in the 60s and 70s it was common for the parakeet seed mixes to have viable hemp seeds in them.

I do remember that! My mother had a canary. She showed me the birdseed and said "These make him sing." Boy did that bird sing. He warbled all morning long. It was beautiful. I wonder if canaries sing and lovely these days.

That's funny! I wonder if it made him hungry too

safflower still are viable, they grow like weeds, which i think they must be, never seen a bird eat them, just throw them out of the feeder and they come up everywhere

Hemp has no 'usable' level of THC (0.3% or less). If the canary was singing happily it isn't because it was high on pot.

I don't guess any birds would sprout from the soil but wait long enough and I bet there will be a lot of birds on the seed heads!

I got my potatoes cut up for planting this weekend. So far, no rain chances this weekend, hope that holds.

My dinosaur kale is up in my milk jugs.

I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for suggestions and solutions. Can anyone use any of these...
