Got a red tomato. Should be ready in a few days. I can already taste it on sandwich with homemade bread![]()
Very jealous of that! I have forever to wait for a nice, warm, juicy tomato off the vine!

Yes I do. They make the best honey because I plant sweet clover for them and I do not kill off the weeds whose flowers contribute to an amazing light colored honey.
In the past they have over wintered well but the past several years I unintentionally poisoned them and have had to start over.So...you're a beekeeper?
We're just starting a new hive this week. Hoping it goes well! Using a long lang.
How have your bees overwintered?
If they use Sevin or a similar type spray, it is deadly to honeybees.Very frustrating. I'm a "TF" keeper but we're near a large Monsanto test farm so it's pretty hard to keep things clean. I had 2 previous hives "dwindle". I know one of the neighbors sprays his pines (christmas trees) with some kind of pesticide so I don't know if they'll really have a chance here.
We shall see...
