When you put it together,,,, and don't have tooooooo many extra parts left over,, you should be in pretty good shape.I sure hope I remember how to put it all together again.

thanks rich, I already have it done. tomorrow I will go get some lapping compound and a lapping tool.If you are going to press the valve guide back in,,, (and it is somewhat not very tight) I would spread a thin layer of JB weld onto the surfaces where they press fit . Press them in and wipe off all excess JB. JB takes a long time to cure. Like 24 hours. It also has a slightly longer working time compared to 5 minute epoxy.
In my opinion,, the JB wont hurt, a try.
Had they bag of onion sets looking at me way tooooo long.
