I would flip it and start pilling the leaves and grass on top.Then in the spring you can just add a bit of topsoil on the top and plant.

Seriously things will grow very well--good luck.
 
The only bad thing I have heard in regards to horse manure is that grains can go through a horse whole. So horse manure can grow other things besides what you want to grow. So you may have some extra weeding to do. But anyway, good luck and I hope your garden turns out great!
