So funny! I recently bought one of those new kerosene cans and the stupid thing on there is even more ridiculous! No instructions or anything on how to actually use the freakin thing! (Oh yeah, that would be a book about 200 pages long to include every language on earth, not very green) No only that, it looks vulgar!

Needless to say it's getting tossed. My DD said she saw a guy at the gas station fooling with one of those gas cans and he was spilling the gas all over the ground!

I've honestly never seen one like that before LOL! Of course, DH has tons of "normal" gas cans around here of various sizes. The only thing I have to worry about is making sure I double check to see if it's mix or straight gas

The 1-gal is designated for chainsaw gas only. I guess you'd need a bigger sized one if you needed to mix a lot, but the principle is still the same.

if i remember correct it is now law that all plastic gas cans sold in stores have to be the non-venting type because they did not want all those vapors building up in the air. so this is why we have to deal with all these new designs. but by them not venting it is easy for the can to turn into a balloon and pop thus defeating the reason of them not venting. they still sell the old metal types in the stores and they are much better than the plastic ones but cost a lot more

It is very amazing what 1 gal can of gas can do when it explodes
