Gator Attacked My Duck!

Here are the other five...contained in their shed. I feel so bad keeping them locked up. Gator needs to GO!

I feel so sad for what has happened with that gator. I always worry about the same getting into my pound despite it being totally fenced. A little one like could always make it through .

Doubt FWC will do much. Friend of ours has had lots of experience catching smaller ones like that so they can go elsewhere.

Where are you located?

I've dealt with losses to snapping turtles but no gators.
Not in FL. It is illegal to get rid of them on your own
:he, some laws are silly.. Here in NY state upstate (not the city :sick) you can protect your livestock and property from damage , including chickens from about everything (neighbors dogs to coyotes/bobcats/fox/etc) except birds of prey that are federally protected. Seems kinda silly you can't protect your property/livestock from gators it's not like they are endangered in Florida (do love the state though been there several times).
I see you got the wing taken care of. As a side note I highly recommend using EMT ( Hydrolysate of Collagen) gel on bad wounds, it grows skin, seen it heel some really bad wounds amazing stuff.
