Wonderful news. Hissing hu? LOL I probably wouldnt of known either.
The others will be ok w/ the kiddy pool . Maybe that gator will move on.

I feel so sad for what has happened with that gator. I always worry about the same getting into my pound despite it being totally fenced. A little one like could always make it through .

Doubt FWC will do much. Friend of ours has had lots of experience catching smaller ones like that so they can go elsewhere.

Most places let you take care of a predator that is attacking your live stock so I’d think you all can take care of this gator.

Not in FL. It is illegal to get rid of them on your own

I've dealt with losses to snapping turtles but no gators.

, some laws are silly.. Here in NY state upstate (not the city ) you can protect your livestock and property from damage , including chickens from about everything (neighbors dogs to coyotes/bobcats/fox/etc) except birds of prey that are federally protected. Seems kinda silly you can't protect your property/livestock from gators it's not like they are endangered in Florida (do love the state though been there several times).
I see you got the wing taken care of. As a side note I highly recommend using EMT ( Hydrolysate of Collagen) gel on bad wounds, it grows skin, seen it heel some really bad wounds amazing stuff.
