if the mother hen was raising them she would have them eating all sorts of things ... all kinds of bugs worms dirt plants everything . i dug up a huge pile of worms for my 15 Barred rocks and about a bucket of dirt for them to " find them " in its what the mama would do . and before they start laying you worm them anyway. i dont think you should stress the 2 lil worms you gave em . its fine . i give my babies everything i want them to be ready for the outdoors in a few weeks . Just my opinion though.
