G'Day from a new Aussie chicken keeper

1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Very new, I got them just over a week ago

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently two hens, Matilda and Victoria. Hoping to add 8 more in due time

(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkies

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Googling chicken info and came across this wonderful site

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hiking, bird watching and video gaming ^_^

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Married with 5 children, one of which was begging me to get chickens, now they are all in love with the girls. I also have three dogs, three cats, 28 birds (20 cockatiels then pairs of button quails, budgies, zebra finches and indian ringnecks) I also have a blue tongue skink.. I'm a wild life photographer and the Mr is a mechanic
