Well,....an introduction. I have successfully bred show winning Partridge Wyandotte Bantams (Pullet Breeders) for about 10 years now (started with an excellent type and colour) and experimented with crossing colours and breeds. Though I respect genetic theory, Nature can come up with some surprises eg. two hen feathered Partridge cockerels one year.....I know what I mated (over a period of 3 years) so may try again. I called one "Cuckoo" because his crow had a soft ring to it. Was considering attempting artificial insemination because they confused my hens somewhat. Both died after 4-5 years....should have had them opened up to see if they developed testicles......
I am branching out into other breeds....in particular the Spangled Hamburgh colours. Happy to begin selective breeding for the Citron....
Ok.....enough I think.
