YES!
I got my very first goose egg of the season today!
It was a bit cold, so I have it getting warm and then I'm throwing it in the incubator with some 4 chicken eggs.

I have read about people hatching cold refrigerated chicken eggs, so I might as well give it a shot, you never know what might happen.
But now that I know they're laying, I'm going to check a couple times every day so I can catch them fresh.

I'll keep everyone updated to let you know.
I'll candle it in about 2 weeks and see what is brewing up inside.

YAY!

Update:
there are now 4 sebastopol geese eggs
& 6 mixed chicken eggs in my incubator.

Any tips or information on anything you suggest being done with the goose eggs would be appreciated.

Geese are so fascinating. I just love them.

I don't know how much luck I'll have with this egg though... It was cold when I got it, but layed very recently.
All I know is I'm giving it a shot... and since I got one egg I should be getting more anytime now that I will put in the bator with it.

MissPrissy, I told another girl off this site if I start shipping goose eggs, she'd be the first I'd let know, if you want, you'll be second.
I can't make any promises though on the fact that I'll start shipping eggs.

No problem MissPrissy!

So what do you guys think the chances are that my goose eggs hatch?
I hope they do!!!! *bites nails*

The chicks that hatch will go right into the brooder when they dry... it's perfect though because they'll be right in time for my chicks coming from ideal!
So I can raise them together!

YIPPEE!!!!
