I have 2 female pekins that seem kind of lonley, and I found some errors on Metzer's site (So I should be getting $60 in certificates). Anyway, I really want some sebbies, but I was worried they would bully the ducks? They will be in the same pen, but it will be sectioned off, so they will hopefully get used to each other. Also, which is nicer, and less aggressive, male or female?

Thanks!

In my case it is the other way around. My ducks bully my sebbies. I have a goose with the back of her head bloody because my drake mounts her so much. she is trying to set a nest and he runs in and jumps on her and pulls away at her neck and back of her head. Her gander yells but doesn't make any move to put him in his place. none of my sebbies are aggressive.

Aww sorry for your sebbie!

I might actually have a chance at making this work, because I have 2 female ducks (No males), so they won't hurt them. Only thing is, I want my girls to have a chance at male companionship, but I would be worried about the gander hurting them during mating (I would get a female sebbie, too.). Would it be a problem if I got a male, and a female to go along with my 2 female ducks?

Thanks!

I have brooded my ducks with my geese and have had no problems so far there about 6 -7 weeks old now and the geese are 3 times teh size but other than that they get along fine I doubt you would have an issue keeping them together i plan to do it
