Nature is opportunistic anyway, my mom and I witnessed a jackrabbit with the remains of a rat hanging from its mouth once.
Just when you think you finally get how the world works, nope, there’s a herbivore that’s gone rogue!

My boys have eaten bugs on two occasions Once was a worm and the second time was a moth; Both times i suspect it was an accident because it was something they were watching and thought "Ohh, that looks interesting, I guess i'll peck it".
