Geese?

Less than 15 minutes ago a male goose killed my 5 week old duck. The geese also try and mate the Florida Mottled Duck and run after big huge storks making them leave. The leave huge poops unlike ducks. The goose murdered it because he could. HE DID NOT KILL IT FOR FOOD. So you have a good time with the sick twisted animal that is very noisy and eats more then any other backyard animal but for a pig.

I'm very sorry for your loss! I can imagine how angry you must feel at that gander.

Poor duck... What breed goose do you have? Chinese? They are more aggressive....

Spring is a very aggressive time for water fowl. Ganders can even drown their mates in a mating fever. They aren't in their right minds. But as spring does, it passes and everybody settles down. I am sorry for your loss and total frustration.
