These are my Cochin-Marans mixes along with a Mauve Orp and perhaps some Cochin-Isbar mixes. Any help on dominant breed and confirming the boys are boys would be awesome! The 4 I feel best about are going today to a farm up north for unwanted boys so they’ll be happy regardless! Just wanna make sure I’m not being hasty!

The first three pics are the ones I think are boys, agreed? Think they’re all Cochin dominant?

The next 7 pictures are either ones I think are girls or are still in question, thoughts?

Thanks!

1-3, and 6 are definitely cockerels. Number 9 looks like one as well. A few others are questionable.

This is why I always say wait until 6-8 weeks for a gender ID. By then, most cockerels are quite evident. A lot can happen with those undecided ones between now and then. A 3.5 week old pullet looking one could sprout a big comb and wattles in another 2-3 weeks and then be an obvious cockerel.

Yeah, that is why I am waiting on the others...I know I will have another batch to rehome in about 3 more weeks...but someone is coming today that is picking up roosters people can't keep and if these numbers hold...I have 9 for sure boys out of 20 chickens, with likely a few more as they grow out. So I figured I should take advantage while I can before I get more attached to the obvious ones. And I don't want them to be chicken dinners! Thank you for the confirmation! :)

In that case, send numbers 1-3, and 6.
