Gender gamble: 2 EEs and a Barred Rock

Hi there..
No, pretty sure it's a barred rock. I'm no expert but while they generally have yellow legs, I've heard many people talk about the barred rock pullets having a grey/black wash down their legs.

Thanks for the imput, though.

OOo... i do have some magnificent fotos of Laverne. (The one in the back.) She's very striking, i think. Tomorrow I'll upload another photo of her when I have some more time.

They are going to be 6 months April 15th.

Your birdies are very pretty! I really love the EE's and their feather patterns. What kind is the hen in the middle?

Thanks for responding!

My barred rock hens also have the grey wash down their legs.

Great - I'll check tomorrow night for pics. The pullet in the middle is an 18 week old barnevelder. If you want to see more photos - click here for one of my BYC pages

This page has pictures of my 3 EE's (and other breeds) when they were little chicks (about 2 weeks), 7-8 weeks old, 16 weeks, and again at 20 weeks, so you can see their growth. I wish I had taken more photos at other ages, but unfortunately, it's too late now.
