Well, let's remember that lavender orps aren't recognized in the SOP, so there is no true definition of what the color should look like on orpingtons. I think your chicks are lavender the way the breeder thinks lavender should be.Yet, now, with the comments left on the pics of my chick from more experienced peeps here on BYC, I’m hearing that this chick doesn’t look like a Lavender.

It’s so hard for me to tell and I’m honestly so tired of saying he/she every time I refer to him/her!
