Gender help for 4 Orpingtons! Please help

Yeah! That would be good just in case. I have heard very good things about Nutri Drench supplement that they carry at Tractor Supply too!
I’ll do that in the morning. I need advice. So we have them in a insulated barn with no heat lamp. It is a constant 85-80 degrees in their and reaches 90+ during the day. We don’t use a heat lamp because we have dogs attached to the barn in kennels. Is it ok that they don’t have a lamp and the barn stays at 80 degrees? They have cold water and thick shavings. When I checked on them a minute ago they were laying with their butts touching and not breathing hard.

Today’s pictures one is standing kinda tall. Ughhh. The yellow and mixed one like to bow up and play with each other. Plsss tell me this has nothing to do with gender. Also they are pecking the shavings a lot today. Is it common for them to start to scratch?

They sound fine. If they were cold they would cheep loudly and huddle together to get warm. If they were hot they would cheep loudly, pant and stand with their wings out. If they are playing and scratching, eating and drinking, they are just right.

I'm curious to what the buff colored with black wings is. Could me mottled or Jubilee

The others look like
Black
chocolate / chocolate cuckoo
Lav or blue or (Isabel cuckoo but leg color should be pink)

On 2 of them their wing feathers are curled... what does that mean while the other 2s wing feathers are straight.

I'm not sure if that has any meaning or not. Could just be how they are growing. I will say my experience in Orps is the males are much slower to feather out compared to pullets. Typically in their shoulders or between their wings. Tails are also slower but mine have been significantly slower to feather out and legs are usually 2x the size.

Yes , they will scratch from the moment they are born. I typically don't put mine on shavings for the first two or three weeks. Just to make sure they know what their food is but I have bought day old chicks that the breeder sent them home with shavings in the box. Shavings are much cleaner than paper towels or nothing in the bottom.
