Gender identity for 4 different breeds at 7 weeks old?

Well, that big tail may not be a good sign....I don't want a rooster either.  We don't have enough hens for a rooster.
Hey you seem very knowledgable with everyone else. I posted this a month ago about a blue jersey giant. Now it's 3 months old. Hen or roo?

I don't know. I've never had a roo, but from what I've read in other forums, by 3 mo, they have begun crowing....Hopefully someone more experienced will see this thread and chime in....
If not, let's update this thread as time goes on and it becomes obvious what they are. Time will tell.

Truchicks, my SS is the smaller one too. I'd say she is half the size of the Barred Rock who was hatched the same day. I don't know if this is just the breed characteristic. Since yours all all different breeds, you can't really compare them to each other as to what's normal in feathers, comb development, etc. Did you buy them as being sexed as pullets?
Billyboy, they say the feathers on neck and tail become pointed at the ends in the cockerels and the pullets' have rounded ends. I can't tell by your photo. I've read every forum on 'what gender' for the past 7 weeks, and followed them to their conclusions when they continued them that far. That's my only experience on the subject!

Yes, SueT. I bought them as day old chicks as females but I understand there is room for error on sexing chicks. The place I bought them from has a guarantee on sexing but I have read that they still can make mistakes :(
