I believe these are about 6 weeks old but I’m unsure about the exact age as they were chick overstock and were a bit older when I purchased them. They could be as old as 7/8 weeks.
The first is the Americana (Easter Egger) and I’m hoping (and guessing) it’s a pullet. This was a chick that my child picked out and we don’t have any of this type (or auracauna/ameracauna mix types).

This is a Gold Laced Wyandotte purchased at the same time, no particular reason why it was picked and only one of this type we have (and we haven’t had this type before either). Only things that make me concerned about gender is it’s very pink/red wattles/comb and the fact it chest bumps the tiny Sebright boys we ended up with - but they are super small and tend to pick fights with everyone. I’m guessing it a boy based on the wattles but need an opinion before I find a new home for it.

Thanks!

The wyandotte is a pullet. Males almost always have a large black patch on the back of his neck.
Yeah I just have my first two SLW chicks, and one tried to fool me, but I would say this pullet looks the "same" as mine.

Thanks for the responses, I guess we will just have to wait and see - in March I purchase 7 Black Australorps and those were super obvious very early on, I ended up with 6 boys out of that batch lol - we have generally only gone with chicks out of the pullet bins but these were a great price and my kids were with me lol

The GLW is a guaranteed to never lay an egg. That is a stone cold cockerel.

EE looks to be a pullet.
