Gender of Barred Rock?

I have looked at the picture again, and can see pronounced hackle feathers, and that long tail feather, and some sec wing feathers.

I've got to go look at my chickens again! Aaagghh!!

Without a doubt its a male. His feather pattern, along with comb and wattles, nice looking boy!

You also have a handsome rooster there, I think. Normally I would be looking at hackle and saddle feathere, but the shadow hides them.
