This chick was just over 7 weeks old when the pictures were taken. (S)he is not a hatchery chick. The eggs came from an established breeder.





This picture is of the above chick with his/her hatchmates. It is the blurry one to the left in the rear. This is only for a size comparison (it is somewhat larger than its broodmates).

X3, the comb is too red for a female, and the stance is roosterish.

Thanks. I have thought he was male for about 3 weeks now. I'll have to find me a 4H kid to adopt him for show. He's going to be too nice (judging from his parents) to be soup.
