Chicks are all 4 weeks old

Brownie is the first set of images - S(he) is a Blue Laced Whyandotte (according to lady I purchased from) S(he) is a complete lap chicken, definitely our favourite but those very red wattles are worrying me.

Hen is a mix of something or other lol.

Red is another Blue Laced Whyandotte - also very calm and lap loving

All look like cockerels except maybe the chick in pictures 8/9. Big comb but pale with no wattle development.

You might have all boys. It is uncommon for a female of any breed to have that much wattle and comb color, and wattle growth. Some breeds color up earlier than others, and some (like Leghorn) get earlier growth in wattles and combs, but for a Wyandotte, this is more than expected development.

The second set of pics, the bird has a very red/rust colored chest - which may be an indicator of male (but breed unknown).

The third set looks like Gold Laced Wyandotte, rather than blue laced.

So, did you buy as day old chicks or did you buy just recently? If recently, the breeder likely was aware these were boys. But if just a backyard keeper, might have been an innocent mistake, except all three look male...

I got 10 chicks as 2-3 day olds from a backyard breeder. Bummer, but it was a straight run so boys were to be expected. Just wish that first one was a pullet. It’s a real sweetie.
