Gender of Injured Chicken

This chicken is about 5 months old.

Got attacked by a dog.
A friend brought it to me because i save injured/sick chickens

Its back was compleatly skined showing the meat and tendons

I cleaned out the would with antibacterial scrub
Put antibacterial spray and ointment on the wound.
Wrapped it in gauze and medical wrap.
And gave it a penicillin shot.

When it came it wasnt moving and comb was very pale.
About an hour ago it got up and started walking, and ate and drank

Im hopeful for it

But What gender

Im thinking girl

Pretty girl. She may be a bit younger than 5 months. She will recover well. Her age is on her side too. Happy healing vibes coming your way.

1st of all u did gr8 job , i am happy to see your work , she is realy in safe hands as i can see , ya she is a girl , i think she is 3 to 3.and half month

Thanks u guys. I knew she looked younger than what i was told. Shes doing great so far. Put sav-a-chick in her water and im feeding her medicated chick starter. Shes eating and drinking. I just gotta change her bandage everyday. Ill keep posted how she does

Just thought id share

The chicken is almost fully healed and will be going back to its home in a few weeks
And it is a girl??
I think its part Blue laced Wyandotte
