Gender of my Cochins...

I received 3 baby Bantam Cochins from my neighbor...they are 23 days old today. I was wondering if anyone could tell just by looking (ha ha) if they are roo's or pullets?

It's still early, but an educated guess would be: Freddie is the only pullet.

Not sure on sexes but they are ohhh sooo cute!

Hard to tell from pics but I would say that silvers are cockerels and brown is a pullet, but don't worry I keep all my roos together and they do fine

It's really to early to tell, give them another month....they combs on the males will really redden up.

My GUESS would be the top two are males the last one is a pullet

That's what I was thinking. Freddie's comb is much smaller - 'she' is much smaller period. Plus, the 2 Silver's are more daring and aggressive...not horrible, just something you notice.

Guess my hubby better get busy - I'm going to need THREE coops & play yards now...I want to know when my Polish pullet has eggs, they are from the Polish roo - same with my Silkie's. LOL!
