Gender? Please help!

Hello! New here! We got a couple of chicks from my daughter’s class (they incubated them...very cool). They were hatched end of April. So far we are enjoying our chicken adventure! I’m fairly certain our black chicken (Belle) is a pullet, and I was Pretty convinced our Delaware? Was too until I heard it trying to crow yesterday. Thoughts?

The Delaware is probably a mix and probably a cockerel with that big and red comb and wattles at 10-12 weeks.

It sounds funny to me. They all sound a little different but usually it sounds squeaky and they usually can't do a full length crow. It's like when a boy's voice starts to change and can go high and low all in one breath.

when my little bantam learned to crow, he sounded like he was trying to clear his throat and burp at the same time.

When my cockerel crowed for the first time, my neighbor thought it was an old man laughing!
