Gender, please

110% cockerel. See those long, skinny pointed feathers at the base of his tail? Those are saddle feathers and only the males get them like that. And he has skinny pointed hackle feathers on his neck. Not only the feathers point to boy, but the fact that he has been jumping on the hens backs. That's how they mate.

On another note, a lot of hens will get spurs as well, so that's really no indication of gender. And some hens will crow. It's not common, but it does happen. It's a dominance thing.

wow-Holy Cockeral!--saddle and hackle feathers growing in bigtime...long skinny skinny feathers growing in above his shoulders near neck region and tail region...Oh and I believe thats an EE not a pure Ameraucana... pretty boy though
