Why would a Recessive White x Self Buff produce blues?

IWhat does this say about my White silkie roo genes?
That like most white Silkies that they are based on Partridge Silkies with eb as e allele, when crossed with Self Buffs(should be Wheaten and by the look of the cross it is at least Heterozygous for Wheaten) the cross produced eWh/eb cross chick. The adults will be Black/Blue Tail buff
