I have a batch of chickies in my barn brooder with a funky chicken in with a healthy group.
I need to now if this is a birth defect or a disease that can spread to the rest of the group.
The first 2 photos are the chick in question. The 3rd is one of the normal looking hatch mates.
It would appear as if she has a short neck. She is a little bit smaller than average compared to the group.
SHOULD SHE BE ISOLATED AND QUARANTINED OR CULLED?
I don't wish to jeopardize the health of the entire group.
Thank you for your opinions in advance.
