Georgia Eggtoberfest 2010

We normally go to Helen once a year to go camping. There are plenty of hotels and lots to do. It has a German feel to it and they have a great place to buy fudge (which hubby loves).

Hey,

The date is getting closer! Planning is underway! Kids and youth are welcome! The Georgia APA/ABA Youth Program leaders will have a booth! Woot! I will continue to keep you all posted!

Wonder if area campgrounds would allow chickens for the weekend since there's going to be a swap?

We normally camp in the national forest in Helen. It really isn't a "campground".......not really any rules, but no electricity, no potty, no shower and sometimes the rare bear. Tons of people camp there and a spring fed creek runs threw there, so there would be water for the chickens.

I cant wait!!! I havent totally decided, but starting to think about getting a room in Helen if someone wants to split the price. I live only about an hour from Helen but think it would be fun for a night away from the hubby and have some adult company and fun. And if I over indulge in fine German beer, I wont have to drive home

So if any woman (sorry guys) is looking for a roomy, pm me and see if maybe we can work something out.

I think we'll go for the weekend, I love the mountains, my sweetie loves the chickens (I do to, really. I just pretend to "begrudgingly go along with it" so I don't have to do more of the work). I'd like to learn how to properly whisper to chickens too, actually. When I do it, they just look at me funny.

We would like to attend but how do we get tickets and how soon can we get them?
