Georgia Eggtoberfest 2010

Well, it's September and October is just around the corner so is there any updates about this event. I am planning to attend but haven't seen any updates and don't want to drive that far if it's not happening.

Seems like this has just kinda fallen of the face of Earth. Hasn't been an up-date in awhile, not even on the Atlanta Chicken website. Wonder if this is still a go?

It would be nice to see some updates, I'd hate to show up with a bunch of chickens and have take them with me on a hike through the mountains instead of showing them. I'd have to buy them all tiny backpacks too.

on our 14th wedding anniversary, we are going to rent a cabin, in Helen Ga we are going on the 24 to the 27th, if no info shows up before then I'll ask around while I'm there, and let you guys Know. one of the things we are doing is the corn maze, and some white water rafting, and I hope I can get DH to get up on a Ballon ride.

Just recieved this email from Christina Duncan: The decision to cancel Eggtoberfest was just made last night. Andy is working on his first book and has a deadline looming. He does not have the time to organize this event, unfortunately. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
