German New Hampshire

I looked tonight, don't think I have stubs, but need to actually pick them up and feel - just in case.
I have one pretty big roo, he is not quite as smooth as my favorite, but am keeping him anyway and going to try both the boys and see what happens.

Does anyone have any pictures of non German line NH they could post? Especially picks of birds that meet the SOP. I would appreciate it.

If its on another thread here, I have missed it entirely. Thanks!

hey there BYCers and NH lovers just saw this post in my emails and figured I'd better post up here and get er stirring again Maybe just maybe it'll be nice out today and I can get some updated pics of Rusty and my pullet she spent last week in the hospital getting all TLCed while battling with the pox all better now and back on go as normal.

Anyway if/when I get pics I shall load them up to here for all to enjoy

G'day everbody in BYC land

Jeff

Morning Jeff and other BYc'ers .
Like you I don't have any recent pic. of my roo and hen but hopefully soon. The hen is through the molting and she looks great. She is laying too. The roo is trying to be dominant with my other part Eng. orp roo in their pen but no harm done so far. Soon I will seperate them and give them their own little harem for Dec, Jan and Feb to keep warm at night with.
A little later I will try to incubate some eggs but with one hen suitable for reproducing it will be slow.
I saw some pens at Beths that I would like to build. They were moveable and looked great for a small num of hens and a roo. She has a pretty green pasture area to move them about on.
Right now all I have are stationary. Not good for the run to be that way , esp with a wire top. It gets muddy even on this hill. Thats the only part that ever smells.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Gloria Jean

As promised heres some of Rusty. I didn't get any of the lil gal as its nasty here today but will try later on to get a few of her.

Just curious; did you find any stubs??

No stubs, thank heaven!

That is a handsome boy, Jeff-

Rusty is a very nice boy!

Read your tag line and had to laugh! I had a peanut butter, banana, and cinnamon sandwich just yesterday!

YUM!!

Finally picked two new ladies to go with the pair that I hatched out this spring. They are in quarantine right now and can't wait to add them to the others. Hopefully this spring I'll be able to incubate a bunch of eggs and increase my NH flock. Can't wait!
